“True Health Confesson: Why I’m 90% Vegetarian” {Guest posting at Glamour.com}
Hey there!
Have you ever wondered why or how I eat an almost vegetarian diet? It’s not something I have explained to you here before, so I was excited when the lovely Sarah Jio from Glamour Magazine’s Health and Fitness blog asked me to to come guest post about it. Please visit me HERE on Glamour.com today
Sarah not only has 3 boys and writes for Glamour. She is also an author and has a new novel just out that’s already climbing up bestseller lists. Read more about Bungalow (that cover so reminds me of my Bora Bora honeymoon, but I assure you the story is much different!) here.
How exciting your guest posting for Glamour!!! I'm absolutely reading this, I've always wanted to try to go vegetarian, but I'm just not sure I could give up chicken 🙂 But if I could look like you then it'd be worth it!!
I was a vegetarian for about 30 years but just couldn't shift my weight ( I eventually lost 45lbs ) I had to add in animal protein but I would love to be vegetarian again. I would go back in heartbeat but would have to start all over agin nutrition wise so as not to balloon again.
Marina: your diet sounds so so healthy. I don't eat eggs, cheese or fish to this day so mine wasn't!
Such a fabulous guest post Marina! I think what you shared about listening to your body is so critical. We can all walk a certain path, but sometimes it's important to take a short detour when the urge strikes 🙂
BTW – I also thought Bora Bora when I saw the book cover! We went there in 2007 and I am thinking it's time to go back 🙂

Congrats on being featured on glamour.com!! How exciting!! Your article was great!! I'm thinking I need to add more veggies into my diet! I love that you will eat a burger every now and then..I'm thinking I need to try this more often! Maybe I'll become 80% vegetarian 😉
So proud of you!!!
congrats on the guest post! just read it and got some excellent reminders of sources of protein as i rarely eat meat but do struggle to get enough of the good stuff in it!

I love the angry vegetarians, mad at you for using the word “vegetarian” if you eat any meat at all. Silly angry people.
Thanks for sharing your story about why you’re 90% vegetarian! I’m always interested in learning more about people’s plant-based journeys.
