Fabric Wall Art and Giveaway Winner Announcement
Hi Friends! A couple of my girlfriends mentioned that they really liked my home and decorating posts, so I thought I would share a recent project with you. My little munchkin’s nursery was in need of a little more color, so used some scraps of fabric I already had to make these circles of wall art. I can’t say I came up with this idea; I’ve seen it a couple of times on Pinterest.com, and on The Cottage Home (an adorable blog). This has to be the easiest fabric project I have ever done. And it cost a grand total of around $7 since I already had fabric scraps from making the girls’ dresses and the nursery curtains.
I made these plain ivory curtains a little more interesting by sewing a panel of fabric to the bottoms. Now the same fabric is repeated on the wall!
So here’s the “tutorial”
1. Get embroidery hoops from the craft store.
2. Separate the hoop’s inside ring from outside ring. Place fabric over inside ring, and pop outer ring on top. Tighten and trim fabric.
3. Hang on a nail in the wall. That’s it!
And the winner is…
- Congratulations, Sue! I’ll be contacting you soon.
