About Marina Delio & Yummy Mummy Kitchen
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Marina Delio, a cookbook author, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), recipe developer, and lifestyle creator passionate about helping women create a more nourishing life through beautiful food, travel, wellness, and slow living.
What began in 2007 as a small recipe blog shared among new moms has grown into a trusted destination for wholesome recipes, travel inspiration, and intentional living. While my daughters are now teenagers, the heart of this space remains the same: creating meals, moments, and experiences that help life feel more grounded, connected, and joyful.
A Love of Real Food

At Yummy Mummy Kitchen, you’ll find nourishing recipes inspired by California and Mediterranean living, seasonal ingredients, and simple whole foods. While many recipes are vegetarian or plant-forward, this is not a strict diet website or a place for food judgment. My philosophy is rooted in balance, sustainability, and helping people feel good in their bodies and lives.
My approach to wellness evolved even further after becoming a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), deepening my understanding of nutrient-dense foods, blood sugar balance, digestion, hormone health, and sustainable wellness practices.

Travel, Slow Living & Inspiration
Travel has deeply shaped both my cooking and my perspective on living well. Some of my earliest culinary experiences were during my time studying abroad in Florence, Italy, where I took my first formal cooking classes and fell in love with simple, seasonal food traditions.
Today, I share travel guides and slow living inspiration from destinations including Italy, Hawaii, London, Paris, the Pacific Northwest, Santa Barbara, and beyond — always through the lens of beauty, nourishment, and intentional living.
Whether it’s a cozy dinner at home, a Caribbean retreat, or a morning at the Santa Barbara farmers market, I believe the small rituals of daily life matter.
Cookbooks & Teaching
I’m the author of two traditionally published cookbooks:
Over the years, I’ve also taught cooking classes at the Santa Barbara Public Market and for private groups as a way to give back to charities.
