1st Birthday Preparations
My sweet girl turns one on Wednesday and we are having a party for her this weekend. I snapped this photo over the weekend when it was nice and sunny. Sadly, rain is in the forecast for the weekend, which means I’ll have to rethink my plans for a garden party.
I am making these pretty sugar cookies for the dessert table. The butterflies are made from edible wafer paper and sprinkled with a little edible glitter. Aren’t they amazing? They seem pretty simple to make, just cut out the butterflies from the printed sheet, coat with corn syrup, and let dry. I’ll let you know how it goes after the party. I hope I can pull them off!
Happy birthday sweet baby!
