Pineapple Teriyaki Plant-Based Burgers 

Easy Hawaiian-inspired pineapple teriyaki burgers with smashed avocado and plant-based vegan burger patties are juicy, satisfying, and perfect for vegetarian grilling.

INGREDIENTS

-  Pineapple -  Sweet Earth® Awesome    Burger -  Homemade or store-    bought teriyaki sauce -  Hamburger buns -  Avocado -  Red onion -  Tomato -  Favorite lettuce

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat a barbecue or frying pan to medium-high.  Grill pineapple rings until caramelized grill marks appear, about 2 minutes per side.

Brush the patties with a little olive or coconut oil to prevent sticking.  Cook for about 4 minutes, then flip.

Meanwhile toast the buns. Smash the avocado onto the bottom buns.  Top with the veggie burger patties, pineapple, onion, tomato, and lettuce.
