Ingredients

Blue Magic

  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 scoop blue spirulina

Tropical C

  • 1 whole orange, peeled
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen tropical fruit mix (banana, strawberry, mango, pineapple)
  • coconut milk as needed to thin

Nutty Green

  • 1/2 cup favorite milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons almond or peanut butter
  • 1 cup spinach or kale
  • 1 pitted date (or scoop vanilla protein powder) for sweetness

Green Garden

  • 1/3 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 2/3 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2/3 cup frozen mango
  • 1 1/2 cups baby spinach

Antioxidant Dragon

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 100 grams frozen dragon fruit
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds

Blue Pomegranate

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 2/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Pour the liquid (or juicy fruit) into the blender. The "Blue Pomegranate Smoothie" is pictured. Pomegranate juice in the bottom of a Vitamix blender.
  2. Top with the remaining ingredients for your chosen smoothie (fruit, nut butter, supplements, etc.) Banana, yogurt, and frozen blueberries in a blender to make a healthy smoothie.
  3. Place the lid securely on the blender. Turn on starting at the lowest speed and gradually increasing. Use the tamper to push the ingredients around if your blender came with one.
  4. Add more liquid as needed to thin. Add ice cubes and/or more frozen fruit to thicken.
  5. Pour into a glass or a bowl (for a smoothie bowl) and enjoy right away. You can also make ahead and store in the freezer. A beautiful purple blueberry pomegranate smoothie in a glass.

Notes

While the ingredients call for frozen fruit for extra cold, thick, and creamy smoothies, you can use fresh too. You may want to also add ice in that case.
