Turmeric Tea Golden Milk with Chai Spices

How to make a delicious and healing caffeine-free vegan turmeric tea latte, or golden milk latte. The spices listed below are optional - add the ones you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ginger
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 star anise
  • sweetener of choice to taste (I use a few drops of organic stevia)

Instructions

  1. Whisk milk and spices in a saucepan over medium heat until combined and just simmering. Simmer 1 to 2 minutes to infuse the spices. Carefully pour into a mug or teacup and sweeten to taste.
