- San Marzano DOP tomatoes
- extra virgin olive oil
- garlic, peeled and sliced crosswise
- pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- sea salt
- torn fresh basil leaves
Pour in the San Marzano tomatoes and juices, red pepper flakes, and salt, and stir to combine.
Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15-20 minutes, until thickened.
