Pineapple Teriyaki Plant-Based Burgers

These easy Hawaiian-inspired pineapple teriyaki veggie burgers are juicy, meaty, and satisfying.

INGREDIENTS

- Pineapple, cut into rings - Sweet Earth® Awesome Burger - Homemade or store-bought teriyaki sauce - Hamburger buns - Large Avocado - Red onion - Large tomato - Favorite lettuce

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat a barbecue or frying pan to medium-high. Grill pineapple rings until caramelized grill marks appear, about 2 minutes per side. Set aside.

Brush the patties with a little olive or coconut oil to prevent sticking. Cook for about 4 minutes, then flip.

Meanwhile toast the buns. Smash the avocado onto the bottom buns. Top with the veggie burger patties, pineapple, onion, tomato, and lettuce.
