Wine Cupcakes

This week I got to taste a brilliant new treat. WINE CUPCAKES! Are you kidding me?! Wine is great. Cupcakes are great. Together they are the perfect food. Much more sophisticated than your average cupcake. Enjoy Cupcakes in Los Olivos, just 30 minutes north of Santa Barbara bakes these incredible little treasures.

Aren't they gorgeous? I love how sparkly they are without the expected sprinkles.

Chocolate Blackberry Syrah Cupcake

Chocolate, syrah infused cake, filled with dark chocolate Belgium fudge, topped with blackberry frosting and a wine soaked blackberry that's rolled in sugar crystals

Chardonnay Cupcake with lime curd filling and sugared lime zest

If you live outside of the area, don't fret, Enjoy will ship a dozen cupcakes anywhere in the U.S. (excluding Hawaii & Alaska) for $99. Click here for ordering info.

The Enjoy Cupcakes vintage trailer! Cute cute!

I don't have a recipe for you, but you can bet I'll be coming up with my own wine cupcake recipe one of these days.

  2. Wine cupcakes sound so yummy!
My mother made a pink champagne cake for my wedding. The champagne she used gave it so much flavor. Everyone at my reception absolutely loooved it and said it was the best cake they'd ever had.

I'm not sure where my mom got the recipe, but I do know that allrecipes.com has a pink champagne cake recipe on their site. :)
